Kmarks Web & Computer Solutions
A transparent path from the first meeting to a sustainable digital service.
Kmarks turns a useful first conversation into a reviewed plan, a clear decision, and a practical path for delivery and support after launch.
01 · Discovery Meeting
The first meeting is the foundation of the relationship.
A Kmarks- or client-requested Discovery Meeting establishes the people involved, vision, requirements, budget context, timeline, relevant references, current experience, and immediate next required task. Clients meet the Kmarks team, see relevant experience and selected work, and leave with a clearer practical starting point.
Bring what you know
- Vision, priorities, intended audience, and the action the website or application must make easier.
- Known requirements, constraints, budget context, timeline, and decision-makers.
- Existing site references, brand materials, documentation, content, and useful examples.
The working path
Six stages, with visible decisions between them.
- Discovery Meeting: understand the relationship and the next required task.
- Strategic Planning: consolidate the approved context into audience, experience, priority, and scope assumptions.
- Proposal & Review: create a market-informed, human-reviewed project proposal.
- Functional Mockup: when the project has sufficient context, provide visual evidence of the intended experience.
- Design & Development: move approved work into build, accessibility-aware quality checks, and stakeholder review.
- Delivery & Sustainment: prepare launch, handoff, training, and an appropriate after-launch model.
02 · Strategy and research
AI can accelerate the research. Kmarks remains accountable for the recommendation.
Kmarks uses internal AI-assisted tools to consolidate non-sensitive meeting notes, approved documentation, relevant public references, market signals, audience needs, and possible UX/UI directions. Kmarks staff review and refine this work into a Strategic Plan; AI does not approve scope, set a binding price, replace client judgment, or remove Kmarks’ responsibility for the work.
The resulting plan documents the audience focus, experience direction, assumptions, decisions, risks, and next steps before a build is authorized.
03 · Plan, proposal, and visual evidence
The proposal explains the work before the client is asked to approve it.
Kmarks uses its internal planning workflow to establish a standard market benchmark, then Kenneth Smith, CEO, personally reviews the proposed scope and pricing before a client-ready proposal is shared. Kmarks seeks a lean, fair price for the work required, not an automated quote or unnecessary complexity.
- Strategic Plan: visitor pathways, UX/UI priorities, technical considerations, delivery assumptions, and decisions needed to proceed.
- Scope-aware proposal: deliverables, investment, timing, responsibilities, assumptions, and review or acceptance points.
- Functional mockup: where sufficient context exists, a live visual direction that helps clients understand the intended experience.
Plan or proposal approval does not authorize production changes. Scope, pricing, schedule, and responsibilities are controlled by the written proposal or agreement. Many standard commercial projects move into Design & Development after an agreed 40–50% deposit; procurement requirements, client policy, and the executed agreement may use a different approved schedule.
04 · Design, development, and delivery
Approval turns the plan into accountable production work.
After the approved scope and funding or procurement step, Kmarks can deliver content hierarchy, responsive UX/UI, accessibility-aware interfaces, integrations, content migration, technical implementation, quality checks, stakeholder feedback, launch readiness, documentation, and training according to the agreement. The team documents decisions, tests important journeys, and works through material changes before they become surprises.
Launch coordination may include the agreed domain, hosting, DNS, content, measurement, search, and release-readiness tasks. Production changes occur only through the appropriate approved process.
05 · Sustainment
The after-launch model depends on the platform and the work.
Kmarks can continue with hosting coordination, maintenance, content operations, visibility work, and technical support when those services are part of the selected scope. WordPress support may include coordination with GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting when selected. Custom full-stack applications, Shopify, WooCommerce, Squarespace, and other platforms require their own provider-aware support approach.
When included, Kmarks can coordinate Cloudflare DNS, Microsoft 365 business email administration, content, social visibility, SEO, Google Business Profile readiness, documentation, and training. Provider features, licensing, response expectations, and support responsibilities remain defined by the provider and written scope; Kmarks does not publish a blanket uptime, resolution, security, or service-level promise.
Make each project decision visible before the work begins.
The Kmarks path connects a Discovery Meeting, strategic planning, review, delivery, and platform-specific sustainment around an agreed project scope.
